An Egyptian director and writer, born in 1940 into a poor family. He worked on European radio, and was also interested in music, so he worked in preparing musical programs, then worked on Egyptian television, directing the song Ballad, then he wrote and directed the movie Enemies of Freedom, with which he participated at the Leipzig Festival in Germany and won the second prize.
