A Child of My Own

Alejandra (Ana Celeste) is newly married and wants a child, but the pressure to become a mother pushes her toward a lie: she fakes a pregnancy. Around her, Arturo (Armando Espitia) and their families wait and watch, each one invested in the future she is pretending to have. Maite Alberdi blurs documentary and performance, letting the camera sit close as the invention unravels and the people in it grapple with what was built on deception.
