A Garibaldian in the Convent

An old woman looks back on her girlhood at a convent school, remembering the happy days and the sad ones. Caterinetta (Carla Del Poggio) is a pupil there when Count Franco Amidei (Leonardo Cortese), a Garibaldian, enters the story, and Vittorio De Sica follows the school's rules and gossip around him. What she risks is a first love that will stay with her for the rest of her life.
