A Neighborhood Family

In Mexico City, El Abuelo (Sergio Lebrija) notices the national soccer team loses in the fifth game, every tournament, like clockwork. Facing his own death in months, he becomes convinced it's a curse and sets out illegally toward Los Angeles with his neighbors, chasing a secret in the 1986 World Cup mascot. What matters isn't whether they lift the curse, but whether they're willing to chase impossible things together.
