A Smile Doesn't Lie

Wisi (Jean-Pascal Zadi) arrives in Bordeaux broke and desperate for work, then tells Marina Paget (Emmanuelle Devos) he is undocumented so she will let him stay. One night he meets Jérôme Bouthier (Raphaël Quenard), a man sleeping rough after his mother's death, and the two form an unlikely friendship. As Wisi's lie deepens and Jérôme's grief hardens into routine, both men risk losing the fragile stability they have built.
