A World Apart

Michele Cortese (Antonio Albanese) is a schoolteacher in a small Southern Italian town who lives quietly, keeping to his routines and his careful distance. When Agnese (Virginia Raffaele), a woman from his past, returns to the village, the life he has built in stillness begins to shift. Milani finds the tenderness in what two people recognize in each other after years apart.
