A soldier named Keiji (voice: Natsuki Hanae) wakes on a battlefield with no memory of how he got there, surrounded by an alien swarm. Rita (voice: Ai Mikami), a veteran fighter, seems to know what's happening to him. Akimoto cuts between fractured images and urgent combat, building toward the truth: some soldiers are trapped in a loop, and the only way out demands learning what the enemy already knows.
