Anatema

Juana (Leonor Watling) is a woman living in a decaying house where a curse takes hold, where the walls seem to press and the air grows thinner. Jimina Sabadú traps the camera inside with her, letting dread accumulate in the quiet rooms and small sounds that shouldn't be there. The horror lives not in what attacks from outside, but in how a place can make you believe you deserve to stay trapped in it.
