Clark (Chiwetel Ejiofor), a furniture store owner, wants to understand why his basement no longer leads where it should. He pulls in Mary (Renate Reinsve), his therapist, to help him map the endless hallways and fluorescent rooms beyond the door. If they cannot find their way back out, or find what is keeping them inside, they may never leave.
