Bad Man

Bobby Gaines (Seann William Scott) is a small-town cop with a gift for making the worst possible choice in any situation. When a murder investigation lands in his lap, he pulls in Deputy Sam Evans (Johnny Simmons) and a loose constellation of locals, each with their own theories and blind spots. What emerges is less a solution than a cascade of bad decisions, each one revealing that the real mess was always the people trying to solve it.
