Nance Redfield (Lena Headey) wants to protect her daughter Diana (Amybeth McNulty) from a threat that has already cost her everything. She pulls in Kahlil Nabizada (Hamza Haq), a man with his own reasons to fight back, and the two move through violence that feels like the only language left. Faust builds the film around what violence cannot restore, what no amount of force can return.
