Be with Me

An elderly shopkeeper keeps his store open and tends to his sick wife, while across Singapore two teenage girls become soul mates and a heavyset security guard works up the nerve to speak to a woman in his building. Eric Khoo threads these three stories around Theresa Chan (Theresa Poh Lin Chan), a blind and deaf woman who tells her own life in the film. The film has only two and a half minutes of spoken dialogue, and Chan reads a hand with her fingers.
