Checkmates

Candela (Alexandra Jiménez) returns to her small hometown after years away, hoping to settle old scores with the group of friends who once left her behind. She gathers Virginia (María Adánez), Emilio (Francesc Orella), Santiago (Miguel Rellán), and Lucas (Alain Hernández) for a reunion. What emerges from their scheming is the harder truth: they've all been running from the same wound, and the only way past it is to stop running from each other.
