Comédie-Française

At the Comédie-Française, there is one sacred rule: the play is never canceled. Three hours before Nina Cardi (Pauline Clément) opens her first production, an actor is stranded, costumes vanish, and the company fractures into argument. Nina scrambles through the theatre trying to hold the pieces together as time collapses toward the curtain. Usclat and Darondeau shoot the night like a live performance, the camera catching each disaster as it unfolds in real time.
