Crazy Lizard

A meteorite crashes into mountains above a remote island village, and a young man who climbs to retrieve it is killed by a creature that emerges from the impact site. The creature descends into the village, feeding on inhabitants one by one, moving through homes and streets with predatory purpose. Cheng traces the terror through the island as survivors realize the thing cannot be reasoned with or stopped, only endured until there is nothing left to consume.
