Isaac and his stepmother Laura are left alone in the house after his father's funeral, grieving in separate rooms and barely speaking. That night, a strange creature begins moving through the corridors, a presence they can hear but not quite see, drawn to them in their vulnerability. Benjamin Barfoot traps them inside with an intruder that may have always belonged to this house, and neither of them knows if the other will survive what comes next.
