Don Quixote

Señor Quexana (Nikolai Cherkasov) has read so many books on chivalry that he believes he is the knight Don Quixote de la Mancha. He rides out on his horse with Sancho Panza (Yuriy Tolubeev) following on a mule, bound for valiant deeds. Grigori Kozintsev sends them past freed prisoners and a windmill taken for a wizard, and everything the old man owns rides on a madness the world will not share.
