“Pause the universe for one last chance”

A village girl named Qian Xiao (Liu Xiaoyu) discovers she can control time, and the power draws dangerous attention in 1930s China. She flees into a sprawling metropolis where Shi Qi (Karry Wang) and others pull her deeper into a world of hidden conspiracies and hidden forces closing in. The gift of time turns out to be a burden: the more she bends it, the more it bends her.
