Archive footage from Elvis Presley's 1970s concert performances resurfaces, raising the question of what survives when a legend is captured live and unguarded. Presley takes the stage with his band, James Burton (James Burton) and the others beside him, the grain of old film stock holding the sweat and electricity of those nights. Luhrmann threads the footage together to let the performance speak, raw and immediate as it once was.
