Family Nest

Laci (László Horváth) moves his young family into his parents' crowded home in late 1970s communist Hungary, with nowhere else to go. His father (Gábor Kun), mother (Gaborne Kún), brother and sister-in-law (Jánosné Szekeres) are already living on top of one another, and the pressures begin to pile up. Béla Tarr shoots the whole thing in black and white, with the camera pushed in close on the family's faces.
