Fatima

Fatima (Soria Zeroual) is an Algerian-born woman living in France with her two teenage daughters, and the three of them can barely talk to one another. She speaks little French, they answer her in it, and the gap between them widens at home. Philippe Faucon follows her through all of it, Fatima in her coat and headscarf, a mother the daughters hear but cannot reach.
