Detective Sgt Burns (Simon Haines) arrives at a countryside mansion where mutilated bodies have been discovered and needs to find who killed them. An unlikely suspect emerges with a terrible knowledge: some secrets don't stay buried, they pull the living down instead. Burns descends into an investigation where each answer reveals flesh and degradation waiting beneath, and the countryside itself seems complicit in keeping its horrors hidden.
