Forsaken

Samuel Paty (Antoine Reinartz) is a history teacher in Paris who shows his students cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad in a lesson on free speech. The film follows him through the eleven days after, as threats arrive and parents turn against him, while he tries to hold to his conviction that the images belong in class. What begins as a principled stand becomes a countdown.
