God Forgives Everyone

Arturo (Pif), a solitary Sicilian real estate agent, finds his dull life suddenly sweetened when he meets Flora (Giusy Buscemi), a pastry chef, over a tray of cannoli. She is witty and brilliant, everything he has wanted, except for one obstacle: Flora is a devout Catholic and Arturo abandoned his faith long ago. As the two of them draw closer, their devotion to each other and their incompatible beliefs pull them toward a choice neither quite knows how to make.
