Good Mother

Nobody in the film says how long the wait will last, only that Ellyes is in prison for robbery and his trial hasn't been set. His grandmother Nora, a cleaning lady in her fifties, fills the weeks looking after her small family in a housing estate in the north of Marseille. Hafsia Herzi follows Nora through her days, and the film keeps returning to what the grandmother and the boy are to each other across a prison visitor's table.
