H Is for Hawk

Helen Macdonald (Claire Foy) brings home a wild goshawk to train, a bird no one else will touch. Her father Alisdair (Brendan Gleeson) has just died, and she has poured herself into this impossible task: to break the hawk to the glove, to make it hers through sheer will and repetition. As she tends the bird through the weeks ahead, she risks losing everyone around her to the thing she believes will save her.
