High Ground

Jake Wilcott (Charlie Weber), a sheriff in a border town, arrests a mysterious prisoner whose arrival draws the attention of a brutal cartel. The man's past and the cartel's power close in on Jake from both sides, trapping him between his duty and forces he can't contain. By the end, Jake stands alone in the dust, watching what remains of the life he thought he had.
