High Tide

Lourenço (Marco Pigossi), a drifter working odd jobs on Cape Cod, wants connection, some reason to stay in one place. He finds it in Maurice (James Bland), a local man who draws him into a quiet romance and a circle of older friends, including Miriam (Marisa Tomei) and Scott (Bill Irwin). Calvani shoots the Massachusetts coast in soft focus and amber light, letting the beauty of what's temporary drift across the screen.
