Hola Frida!

Mexico City, 1907: a girl named Frida grows up in a house full of color and chaos, surrounded by her mother Matilde (Sophie Faucher) and a tight circle of childhood friends. She sketches constantly, draws on her own skin, sees the world as a riot of patterns and possibility. Karine Vézina and André Kadi paint her early years in animation that blooms with the same intensity she does, with flowers and fabric and light spilling through every open window.
