“Is this how it ends?”

A village police chief (Hwang Jung-min) and his rookie deputy (Zo In-sung) find themselves cut off after wildfires destroy all roads and power to their remote community. A mysterious creature moves through the mountains now, and a hunting party that went into the forest is not coming back the way it went. The chief has only his deputy, his town, and the dark between the trees.
