If You Were the Last

A solar flare has wiped out most of humanity, leaving Adam Gherrity (Anthony Mackie) and Jane Kuang (Zoë Chao) as the last two people on Earth. They meet by chance in the ruins of Los Angeles and decide to try building a life together, though they come from opposite worlds and clash on almost everything. Kristian Mercado Figueroa finds tenderness in their arguments, letting the camera linger on the small moments where two strangers learn to want the same things.
