Eleven-year-old Remco van Leeuwen (Yannick van de Velde) has one dream, a place on the national under-12 team, and his father Erik (Thomas Acda) coaches him toward it. Then Erik dies without warning, leaving Remco and his mother Sylvia (Wendy van Dijk) in the shock of it. Joram Lürsen follows Remco as he keeps training with his friends Anne and Winston, the ball still at his feet.
