Agneta (Eva Melander), newly jobless, takes work as an au pair at a sun-soaked house in Provence, hoping to vanish into someone else's life for a while. She finds herself caught between Einar (Claes Månsson), the husband who notices her, and the rhythms of a household that slowly undoes her caution. What began as escape becomes a desire neither of them expected to want.
