Joy of Learning
Two militants, Émile Rousseau (Jean-Pierre Léaud) and Patricia Lumumba (Juliet Berto), meet at night in an abandoned television studio and talk about language, which they call the enemy. Jean-Luc Godard shot it in 1969 as an adaptation of Rousseau's treatise on education, and French television rejected it. Émile and Patricia pick words and images apart, trying to return to zero, and they keep at it for the joy of learning.
