Kabhi Kabhie

Amitabh Malhotra (Amitabh Bachchan) is a young poet whose love for Pooja Khanna (Rakhee Gulzar) is cut short when both are made to marry other people. Years later, with Anjali (Waheeda Rehman) as his wife and Vijay (Shashi Kapoor) as her husband, their children grow up and old memories pull at everyone in the house. Yash Chopra sets the story to Khayyam's songs, letting the music carry what the characters leave unsaid.
