Karaoke

Bénédicte (Michèle Laroque), a celebrated opera singer, loses everything after one reckless night. Fatou (Claudia Tagbo), a cleaning lady from those same palatial rooms, approaches her with an unlikely proposal: enter the national karaoke championship together. Ben Lahcene shoots the film with the warmth of people discovering they need each other, turning the stage into a place where surrender becomes its own kind of power.
