Jean-François Casteigne (Kad Merad), a wealthy hotel owner, grows desperate to teach his spoiled son Louis (Audran Cattin) a lesson. He hires a director to build an 18th-century village, drugs Louis, and stages a deception: the boy wakes believing he has time-traveled and must survive as a peasant while hidden cameras watch. The scheme spirals as Louis navigates the fake past, and Jean-François must confront what he is willing to risk to reshape his son.
