“In the heart of the Kongo!”

Synopsis

Flint (Walter Huston) is a disabled man who rules an isolated stretch of the Kongo as if he were a god, holding his subjects through superstition and cruelty. William J. Cowen's 1932 film adapts a Broadway play that also starred Huston. Everything Flint does is aimed at one day, the day he can finally repay the man who ruined his life.
