Madeinusa

Madeinusa (Magaly Solier) lives in a village high in the Peruvian mountains where the religious faith runs deep and one custom stands apart. From three o'clock on Good Friday until Easter Sunday, the whole community can do whatever it likes. Claudia Llosa films the village in tight, close frames that leave little room to look away.
