Meet the Barbarians

Joëlle (Julie Delpy) wants to sell her family home in Brittany, but her ex-husband Hervé (Laurent Lafitte) and his new wife have moved into the neighboring house. Her sister Anne (Sandrine Kiberlain) arrives to help her escape, and the two women find themselves tangled in the daily friction of their former and current family. What looks like a simple real-estate problem becomes a question of whether anyone truly leaves the people who shaped them.
