Himala

Elsa (Nora Aunor) is an orphan in an isolated village, and she wants nothing more than to be believed when she says she has seen the Virgin Mary. Her visions turn to healing, and tourists, pilgrims, patients and a documentary filmmaker begin arriving to be near the miracle. Ishmael Bernal watches the village change around her, and what Elsa is risking is her own name and the faith of everyone who has come.
