My Mom Jayne
“Reclaiming her mother's story. And her own.”
Mariska Hargitay examines her mother Jayne Mansfield through archive footage and interviews with her siblings. Jayne was a star who lived loudly, a bombshell actress and dancer whose life burned bright and ended abruptly when Mariska was three years old. Hargitay pieces together the woman her mother was from fragments and memory, letting the camera sit with what remains.
