Naked Alibi

Lieutenant Parks (Max Showalter) is dead the night after a drunk, respectable man named Al Willis (Gene Barry) swore revenge on the cops who beat him during questioning. Chief Joe E. Conroy (Sterling Hayden) has no evidence, only a certainty about Willis he will not let go, even after the force dismisses him. Jerry Hopper follows Conroy's pursuit to a sleazy border town, where Gloria Grahame's Marianna sings in the nightclub and Tijuana's streets wait.
