Aurora (Joana Santos) stands at the edge of a London rooftop, deciding whether to jump. Before that moment, she was moving through the city almost without touching it: a care worker exhausted by other people's needs, a woman renting a room in someone else's flat, drifting between shifts and small humiliations. Carreira frames her in wide shots against gray buildings and empty streets, a figure so still she could disappear into the concrete around her.
