Parallel Tales

Sylvie (Isabelle Huppert), a celebrated author, has grown fascinated by the lives unfolding across the street in her Parisian building. She hires Adam (Adam Bessa), a quiet stranger, as her assistant, drawn to his seeming emptiness as a blank page. What unfolds between them becomes tangled with the lives she watches, until the boundaries between observer and observed, fiction and reality, begin to collapse.
