Parthenope

“Is she a siren or a myth?”

A young woman named Parthenope (Celeste Dalla Porta) arrives in Naples with beauty and appetite, moving through the city's streets and salons in search of love. She meets a writer (Gary Oldman), a political fixer (Silvio Orlando), a nightclub singer (Luisa Ranieri), each one a doorway she steps through and then past. Sorrentino traces her passage across decades with the patient eye of someone watching light change on water.
