Put Your Soul on Your Hand and Walk

In Gaza during the 2024 military campaign, filmmaker Sepideh Farsi stays connected to photojournalist Fatima Hassouna through video calls, watching from abroad as Hassouna documents life in the rubble around her. The two women speak across the distance, Hassouna describing what she sees and experiences while Farsi listens, unable to help, only to witness. What remains is Hassouna's hands holding a camera in the dark, steady and working.
