River of Grass

A drink at a bar with a stranger turns into a break-in at a house, and then a gunshot sends Cozy (Lisa Bowman) and Lee Ray Harold (Larry Fessenden) running, both sure they have killed someone. Kelly Reichardt, in her first feature, follows two people who have never done a single thing with their lives. They are fleeing a crime they may not have committed, and the film keeps asking who is really the outlaw here.
