Romeo Is Juliet

A young actress (Pilar Fogliati) bombs her audition for Juliet, so she cuts her hair and auditions as a man. The director (Sergio Castellitto) casts her as Romeo without knowing who she is, and suddenly she's rehearsing opposite the Juliet she wanted to be. Shakespeare's script becomes a secret language between them, and what the play is really about, two people speaking across a divide, turns out to be the only truth that matters.
