Santa Claus Has Blue Eyes

Daniel (Jean-Pierre Léaud) is a young man with a plan: he wants the duffle coat everyone else seems to be wearing, and he has no money for it. So he takes a job with a photographer (René Gilson), standing in a Santa Claus suit and posing for the camera. Jean Eustache sets it at fifty minutes, and the coat stays just out of reach while Daniel finds that the costume gets him talking to girls.
